Breast cancer is often treated as random, but biology tells a different story when root systems are ignored.
Breast cancer is frequently discussed as a matter of genetics or chance. From a biological standpoint, that framing is incomplete. When foundational detoxification and hormone-processing systems are impaired, cancer development follows patterns that are predictable rather than random.
Understanding these root systems is essential to understanding why breast cancer develops in the first place.
Hormone-dependent cancers are driven largely by dysfunction in methylation pathways and cytochrome P450 detoxification. When hepatic phase I and phase II detoxification fail to efficiently convert fat-soluble hormones, xenobiotics, and toxins into water-soluble compounds for elimination, estrogenic burden accumulates. This biochemical congestion promotes estrogen dominance, DNA damage, and unchecked cellular signaling conditions central to the development of breast cancer.
Chronic infections, toxic environmental exposures, and nutrient-poor diets compound this dysfunction. Over time, they impair liver capacity, deplete critical methyl donors, and dysregulate metabolic clearance.
In this context, breast cancer is not random. It is the predictable outcome of impaired detoxification biology sustained over time.
For patients, this is not abstract chemistry. It is lived experience. Sue’s story shows what addressing root causes can look like in real life.
Sue first came to the Epigenetics Healing Center over a year and a half ago with chronic lupus nephritis and impaired kidney function. Through personalized care focused on restoring metabolic and hormonal balance, her kidney function returned to normal.
During her care, Sue received an additional diagnosis: stage one breast cancer.
Rather than pursuing radiation or hormone-blocking medications, Sue chose to continue exclusively with the care she was already receiving at the center. Her treatment focused on advanced hormone testing, correcting metabolic pathways, targeted IV therapy, and individualized supplementation to support detoxification and immune function.
At follow-up, Sue returned to her oncologist and breast surgeon with updated imaging. Her mammogram showed no irregular cell formations and no evidence of cancer. The breast surgeon discharged her from care, advising only routine annual mammograms moving forward.
“I just had a mammogram that was totally normal. Absolutely no cancer. I went to the breast surgeon right after that and he said that he does not need to see me anymore and to make sure that I get mammograms yearly. And that was it. So I’m healed in the name of Jesus. Thank you Dr. Goodbinder for everything.”
Sue’s story highlights what can happen when underlying hormone metabolism, detoxification pathways, and systemic health are addressed — not just the diagnosis itself.
