Are there any other diseases I should be worried about if I have Asthma?
The answer to this question is, Yes, because you’re not lungs, you’re not a kidney, you’re not a gallbladder, you’re not a thyroid, you’re a person. When one system isn’t working well, it means the whole system is not working optimally. In which case, yes, any chronic disease, you are more likely to have if you have another one.
When we have asthma, we know we have an autoimmune condition that is creating inflammatory problems to our lungs. This opens us up to a whole lot of other autoimmune conditions such as:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Colitis
- Chron’s Disease
- Parkinson’s
- M.S
- Hyperthyroid
- Etc.
All of these things are autoimmune diseases, and we already know we have a problem with our immune system. Until we optimize everything, we are still at risk for all of those things. The important thing is getting your body examined, to see what you could naturally be doing to improve your health, as well as decrease your risk for chronic diseases.
